We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Google Cloud Security Engineer to join our Security team. This role is fully remote, based in Argentina. As a Google Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our cloud infrastructure, identifying and mitigating application vulnerabilities, and implementing robust security architectures and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain security measures for Google Cloud environments.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure and application vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems.
  • Monitor and assess security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to our cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring a clear understanding of security protocols and expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure proactive security measures.

Requirements:

  • Google Cloud Security Engineer certification.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, operating systems, application vulnerabilities, and security architecture and controls.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with cloud computing concepts and security controls.
  • Proven ability to interface effectively with clients at both executive and technical levels, managing expectations and delivering clear communications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the cyber threat landscape.
  • Security-related certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GCIH.
  • Language proficiency: Native Spanish and B2 level English.
