We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team remotely in Argentina. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration and operation of cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interface with clients at both executive and technical levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage robust cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Implement best practices for cloud architecture, development, and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain microservices and APIs to support various applications.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and management.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud services.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, scalability, and security.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring their cloud solutions meet their business needs.
  • Manage client expectations and deliver solutions in a concise and timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Google Cloud Developer, Google Cloud DevOps, or Google Cloud Architect Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of development best practices, microservices, APIs, and CI/CD processes.
  • Understanding of container technologies and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud development and usage.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with clients, managing expectations at both executive and technical levels.
  • Proficient in English (B2 level) and native in Spanish.

Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
